Whole Home Renovation Process

1. Connect

We begin with an in-home consultation to assess your home, discuss your vision, and understand your goals, lifestyle, and budget.

We'll evaluate the existing space, identify opportunities for improvement, and determine the best approach to transform your home while meeting your needs.

2. Create

Your estimator works closely with our design team to develop a preliminary renovation plan and prepare a detailed estimate.

We take the time to ensure the proposed design enhances the functionality, flow, and character of your home while aligning with your budget and project goals.

3. Plan

Once you decide to move forward with MONK Renovations, you'll receive our MONK Next Steps, outlining your project timeline, introducing your dedicated project coordination team, and providing the selections required before construction begins.

Our design team works closely with our in-house engineers to develop and refine your renovation plans, ensuring the design is both functional and structurally sound. Once the design has been finalized and approved, we'll guide you through selecting the finishes, fixtures, and materials for every area of your home. Before any orders are placed, you'll receive a complete summary of your selections for review and approval, ensuring every detail is finalized with confidence.

4. Construct

On the first day of construction, your project team will meet with you on-site to review the project scope, answer any final questions, and ensure everyone is aligned before work begins.

Throughout the renovation, your Project Manager will coordinate trades, oversee progress, and provide regular updates as every space in your home is transformed.

5. Enjoy

Your whole home renovation is complete, and it's time to enjoy a home that feels entirely renewed.

You'll have a beautifully renovated home designed around your lifestyle, built with exceptional craftsmanship, and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

Whole Home Renovation FAQ

What is the value in hiring a professional contractor?

A professional contractor brings expertise, reputation, safety program, proper permits, and insurance to protect you and your home investment. They coordinate trades, catch problems early, and stand behind their work with warranties, giving you quality and peace of mind.

Do you provide construction management services?

Yes, construction management is part of our process. We coordinate trades, scheduling, permits, and quality control from start to finish, so you have a single point of contact managing your project rather than juggling multiple contractors yourself.

What should I do before and during construction to help the project run smoothly?

We believe the key to a successful renovation is thorough planning before construction begins. We'll work with you to finalize the design, make product selections, and establish a clear plan before work starts. Throughout the renovation, we'll keep you informed every step of the way, and we ask that you communicate any questions or concerns with us so we can keep your project running smoothly.
